Home made greetings cards for birthdays

There’s no limit to what cards can be made for these annual events. Have a giant family; have a much bigger extended family and friends? Cash can be saved as well as memories treasured from a personally designed greeting card. Know the person and design the card around what you know.

Poems and creative expressions authored by kids mean more than store acquired cards. Imagine all of the poems that would be written to the tune of Happy Birthday. Imagine all of the monkeys you might place on the cards. (My youngsters, when younger, liked that verse from the tune youngsters) Home-made cards for anniversaries Imagine a pair married 50 years opening up a card with a wide ranging image of all their youngsters, grandkids and great grandkids. Each kid can write a design their own page of the card also. The card would be the best present, so much so the gifts, dear ones at that are left all but forgotten on the present table as the card is circled around and memories are shared with laughter and love at the massive gala.

Or round the dining table, or in the family room. Home-made greetings cards for Christmas This is one of my faves. My youngsters and I’m taking card stock, (bought at assorted times across the year when on clearance) and after deciding an image of every one to use (that we took with an electronic camera) we make angel cards. The face of each kid is the angel and she or he decorates around it. they’re growing up and not necessarily so angelic across the years so this year an image of them dancing around could be ideal.

Think about it-ideas are limitless. This is the one time store acquired greetings cards can be more cost-effective to buy, as a Xmas card list can be rather frightening. Home-made cards for parties This is my favorite! My girl wanted a slumber party a year later the day Xmas holiday started. We went further and made it into a cookie exchange. The invite card, a giant cookie wrapped up in green cellophane and a red ribbon.

A cookie we made. Imagine the possibilities! Home made cards for many thanks’s Using an image of the present as a back screen, print up a written thanks and you are set. My youngsters received chopper bikes one year, and the thank you was written on the background of a helmet, elbow and kneepads and a Harley emblem. Within was an image of every one of them riding their bike.

Home-made cards for other vacations Valentine’s? Hearts galore and youngsters can be so creative. Grandparent’s Day? (Coming up Sep 9th) make a card around a project they have done together or with past report cards. (Hopefully, the grades were worth showing off.) Halloween? Spooks and imps, magicians and black cats? The possibilities are limitless. Every year is more of an excitement. This year the card will be one with my child dressed up like a hag and my boy a poltergeist. Not merely will these home-made cards save you cash, but also they are going to add so many adored memories to your life. However , Hallmark has been around for all time and frequently this company has saved my bacon one a birthday or other vacation which has crept up on me too swiftly. I do retract my opening statement.
